My girls and I love having play dates with our friend Leslie. She is a stay-at-home-grandma to her precious granddaughter and they are fun to get together with. Whenever Leslie invites us to her home, she has a table full of delicious food (she jokes that the food is the real reason we visit her, but that’s not true! It’s a bonus!) One afternoon she made us apple butter roll ups and I just had to get the recipe from her. I think you might want it too. Here’s what you will need:
- tortillas (any size)
- apple butter (in jams and jelly section of grocery store)
- provolone cheese
- sliced turkey breast
- butter or olive oil spray
First, lay out your tortilla.
Spread a spoonful of apple butter around the center.
Lay a piece of cheese on it.
Top with a piece of turkey.
Roll up, lightly butter the tortilla and place on low-medium heated skillet. Carefully turn over to brown both sides.
