Merry Christmas everyone!!! When this time of year rolls around, I always look forward to listening to Christmas songs on the radio, Pandora, or YouTube. I wanted to take a minute to share my top
three four with you that really help me feel the Christmas spirit. (In no particular order)
First, this is my favorite rendition of “Go, Tell It On The Mountain” by Big Daddy Weave
Secondly, I think that “Mary Did You Know?” is such a beautiful song which means even more to me now that I am a mother. (How on earth did Mary bear and raise the son of God?!? Imagine the pressure. It is mind blowing!) Clay Aiken’s voice really exceeded my expectations on this track.
Third, I listen to this song all year round. I don’t think it’s exactly a Christmas song, but when I am listening to holiday music on Pandora, they throw it in from time to time. Now if you have ever underestimated Justin Beiber, take a couple minutes to listen to his song titled, “Pray.” It is a very humbling and touching song that reminds us of others who have many more trials than us, and that we must pray for them. It’s a great message to be shared. Good job Justin.
Fourth, have you heard of the Piano Guys!?!? Oh my gosh they are crazy talented! Check out this fun video they did for “Angels We Have Heard On High.”
Alright I know I said I was only going to share my top four Christmas songs, but here is a bonus track. My little Roo singing, “Christmas Bells” from our church’s children’s hymn book.
We wish each of you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
