Essential Oils

I’m aware that essential oils are becoming quite popular, and I wanted to see what you think about them, and what you’ve heard. Recently I have learned about four different oils: lemon oil, peppermint oil, lavender, and on guard.

Lemon OilLemon oil can be used to cleanse your body (great for kidney stones) when mixed with water in a glass cup and consumed. It is very important not to use a plastic cup because the lemon oil extracts the toxins which are in your body and can do the same thing to the plastic. Interesting, right?!?

Peppermint oil can be rubbed on your tummy if feeling nauseated or crampy.

Lavender oil is my favorite thing to use at night. I put a tiny amount of oil under my nose, and just a tinge on my tongue to help me fall asleep faster and to sleep deeper. It’s such a calming scent and it really helps me relax at the end of the day.

On GuardOn guard is a protective blend that I rub on the bottom of our feet, or I put a drop on the back of my hand and lick it off in an attempt to keep us healthy and immunities strong.

I know this may sound a little coo-coo but I have been trying these oils and I am enjoying them. Three people that I love and trust very much have separately informed me about essential oils, so there must be something to it, right? So what are your thoughts? Your experiences? I want to hear more and learn more, so please share!
